IICTP exists to make technical skill visible and checkable, so that people who build and run software can show what they can do, and the people who rely on them can see it.

Clear standards, published requirements and an exam that tests judgement in realistic situations, so your credential means the same thing to everyone who reads it.

A way to check, not take on trust.

A public registry where a credential’s status and dates can be confirmed, so hiring and procurement do not rest on a certificate someone can copy.

A shared definition of competent practice.
